Hello!
I hope that everyone had a great
time at the anniversary
craw-b-que - even though mother
nature didn't cooperate this
year. We had a fantastic turnout
considering, and i think everyone
had fun. I would like to thank
everyone who helped to make the
day a success, especially sonny,
tibby, and George.
It's summer and things are
heating up - in more ways than
one! The club continues to grow -
more than 70 strong. I would like
to welcome all of our new
members and I look forward to
spending time with each of you in
the coming months.
Bear Decadence is fast
approaching, and the bears are
planning a full weekend of
events. Please visit our website

events. It looks like we have a
record-setting year in the
making. Anyone interested in

As the club grows and changes, it
is inevitable that some "fur" will
be "ruffled". Change is
challenging for most and even
more difficult for some. When I
decided to update the bylaws, I
had no idea It would create such a
controversy. The intention was
to make the bylaws more in-sync
with the current direction of
the club and to make them more
"user friendly".
Being an officer for three years
has given me an "insiders" view of
how this club operates. My
intention was to help make things
a bit more organized and defined
for the next group of bears who
take on the leadership of our
club. I hope that in the next six
months, I can make at least some
progress in that direction.
I hope you all have a great
summer and look forward to
seeing you at any and all of our
many functions planned in the
coming months.
